Alabama’s secondary has had its share of ups and downs this season but has an opportunity to make a statement in week nine against Missouri.
The Crimson Tide secondary has faced several good wide receivers this season. However, only a few teams that Alabama has faced have had multiple wide receivers challenge them.
Missouri’s offense is led by a trio of wide receivers — Luther Burden III, Theo Wease Jr., and Mookie Cooper. Burden III is projected to be one of the top wide receivers chosen in the 2025 NFL Draft. Through the first seven games of the season, Burden has recorded 37 receptions for 447 receiving yards and four touchdowns.
