Speed kills in track meets and the National Football League.
People were amazed by DK Metcalf’s performance in the USA Track and Field Olympic Team tryouts. The 6-foot-3, 230-pounder at wide receiver held his own against some of the fastest guys in the world. He recorded a respectable time of 10.36 seconds in the 100-meter dash. He finished last in his heat, but his effort was impressive. In honoring the fastest players in today’s NFL, Willie McGinest of NFL Network put together an All-NFL edition 4×100 Relay Team. The three-time Super Bowl champion had former Alabama receiver Henry Ruggs III on his team.
