RENO, Nev. – Sophomore Hannah Cook recorded her first career double-double with 15 points and a career-high 15 rebounds to lead the Alabama women’s basketball team to a 64-46 victory over Middle Tennessee in game one of the Nugget Classic, which is being played on the campus of the University of Nevada at the Lawlor Events Center. With the win, the Crimson Tide moves to 5-0 on the season, while the loss drops the Blue Raiders to 1-3.
“I thought it was a great effort, and we got a lot of help from our bench,” said Alabama head coach Kristy Curry.
