Greg Goff Named Alabama Baseball Head Coach

ICYMI: Crimson Tide Report—Baseball and Bryant

The University of Alabama made it official by naming Greg Goff as the next head coach of the Crimson Tide baseball team on Friday. The terms of the deal between the two parties have not been released yet, but it is almost certain that Goff will be getting a raise from his last coaching gig at Louisiana Tech where he was making between $100,000 and $130,000.

Goff was not one of the top names mentioned for the Alabama baseball job at first, but when D1Baseball.com’s Kendall Rogers tweeted Thursday that David Pierce and Cliff Godwin were out of the mix for Alabama, Goff’s name was quickly named as the front-runner.
