The first 15 months of Greg Byrne's Alabama tenure have been eventful. His stealthy hire to replace Bill Battle came on the heels of the Crimson Tide's national title loss to Clemson in January 2017.
Byrne's first year saw Alabama avenge what happened in Tampa, the firing of baseball coach Greg Goff and the low-awaited return to the NCAA tournament for the basketball program.
