The Green Bay Packers will have their fourth punter in four seasons in 2018, but the NFL team expects its latest one to last more than one year after using a fifth-round draft choice on Alabama's JK Scott in April.
The Packers like his leg and his pedigree, which included punting in three national-championship games with the Crimson Tide.
"If you look at his history, he's been in some pressure-cooking situations, obviously," Green Bay special-teams coordinator Ron Zook said during the Packers' minicamp in June. "... There's no question that he's got a big gift there in his leg, but for the most part he's been fairly consistent, which is sometimes not the case with a young guy.
