University of Georgia junior Greyson Sigg fired a third-round 68 to propel the Georgia Bulldogs to the top of the NCAA Regionals at Ol’ Colony Golf Complex in Tuscaloosa. Sigg took medalist honors after finishing the tournament at 9-under and leading the Bulldogs to 16-under and a victory.
Sigg’s final round solidified a four-stroke victory for Georgia over South Carolina, which ended the tournament at 12-under. Alabama, Kentucky and Auburn rounded out the top five and also advance in the NCAA tournament.
For Sigg, the key to his team’s success was a mix of preparation and mentality.
