The news came Monday from ESPN’s Pete Thamel as O’Brien is second on the Yellow Jackets’ coaching search after Jamey Chadwell of Coastal Carolina. Georgia Tech fired Geoff Collins from its head coaching position after a 1-3 start to this season.
