Maurice Smith has maintained since transferring to Georgia that he holds no ill-will towards the Alabama program. In fact, the graduate transfer defensive back was sitting in the Georgia Dome stands on Saturday to see his former teammates battle Florida for the SEC Championship.
“Seeing everyone at the game, seeing the parents and seeing them win, it was just a great feeling,” Smith told AL.com. “It’s a great feeling to see them and my former teammates shining.”
Smith says he till keeps in contact with numerous former teammates and had no problem getting a ticket to the game.
