Gene Stallings was "pleased" when he was told of the biggest lesson he passed on to Dabo Swinney.
Last week at ACC Kickoff, the Clemson coach was asked what was the biggest lesson he learned from his time as a receiver at Alabama under Stallings.
"You don't have to sacrifice your family to be a good coach," Swinney said last week.
On Thursday, the former Crimson Tide coach joined me and Lee Shirvanian on "The Opening Kickoff" on WNSP-FM 105.5.
"It pleases me because your family is awfully important," Stallings said Thursday. When everything is said and done and you have some bad years, your family is your real support system.
