Following news of a health scare earlier this week, former Alabama coach Gene Stallings called in for his weekly appearance on Tide 102.9 FM’s “The Game” with Ryan Fowler to provide fans with an update on his status.
Stallings, who was traveling to Huntsville, AL early Monday morning to attend a speaking event with former Auburn coach Pat Dye, suffered a mild stroke prior to boarding his flight at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and was rushed to the hospital.
“I’m feeling pretty good,” Stallings told Fowler. “I knew something was wrong, but I didn’t want to admit it, I wanted to go ahead honor the commitment.
