Even after suffering a heart attack and two strokes, Gene Stallings isn't thinking about slowing down.
The former Alabama coach began a three-day stretch of speaking engagements in Huntsville on Tuesday night as he joined former Auburn coach Pat Dye for the Huntsville Quarterback Club Kickoff Meeting at The Ledges. After that, Stallings was scheduled to return to his native Texas to speak in Texarkana on Wednesday, then at a high school coaches clinic in Waco on Thursday.
"I stay on the go quite a bit," he said.
Stallings, 83, suffered a heart attack late last September following strokes in August and May of 2017.
