Eight days after suffering a heart attack, the former Alabama and Texas A&M coach was at Kyle Field in College Station.
The 1967 Aggies, coached by Stallings, were honored Saturday night during No. 1 Alabama's 27-19 win over the Aggies.
"It's matter of saying what you're going to do," Stallings told me Monday during his appearance on The Opening Kickoff on WNSP-FM 105.5. "If it had been up to (the doctors), I would not have attended, but I had an obligation.
