Fans and media personnel around the Kansas City Chiefs are very excited for third-year wide receiver – second year on active roster – Gehrig Dieter. After not being selected through seven rounds of the 2017 NFL Draft, he found a home with the Chiefs and displays strong potential.
Hailing from South Bend, Ind., Dieter was a 1,000-yard weapon at Bowling Green State University and valuable piece on Alabama’s 2016 Southeastern Conference title team as a graduate transfer.
In his lone season with the Crimson Tide, he caught 15 passes from Jalen Hurts for 214 receiving yards with four touchdowns in 15 matchups.
