Four-star defensive tackle Bobby Brown committed to Texas A&M over SEC West rival Alabama on Friday.

Brown, a standout at Lamar High School in Arlington, Texas, became the Crimson Tide's top defensive line target when he camped in Tuscaloosa this summer. However, he opted to play for the Aggies instead, releasing a video on his Twitter account on Friday morning.

Where do state's top prospects play tonight?

In addition to the Tide and Aggies, Brown also had LSU, Florida State, Baylor, Texas, Oklahoma and Houston among his finalists. The 6-foot-4, 282-pound standout also had offers from Arkansas, Baylor, Colorado, LSU, Michigan, Mississippi State, Nebraska and Ohio State, among others.
