Alabama has sured up its offensive line from another transfer portal pickup. Former Vanderbilt offensive lineman Tyler Steen announced that he intends to transfer to the Crimson Tide.
Prior to selecting Alabama, Steen had narrowed his selections down to a total of four programs which also included Virginia, Kentucky and LSU where his father Daris graduated from.
Over the past three seasons as a member of the Commodores, Steen has started a total of 33 games at left and right tackle on the offensive line. After losing starting tackles Evan Neal and Chris Owens to the NFL Draft, Alabama’s offensive line was once again in the market for an experienced player at that position and has now found it with the 6-foot-5 315-pound lineman.
