His career as a starting quarterback for the University of Alabama was filled with highs and lows; however, one cannot take away the leadership that Andrew Zow provided the Crimson Tide in 1999 as he led the program to its first Southeastern Conference title since 1992.
He has been working up the high school coaching ranks since his playing days at Alabama and according to a report from WVTM 13 (NBC affiliate) in Birmingham, Zow was hired on Monday to be the next head football coach at Bessemer City High School.
The Bessemer Board of Education made it official.
