After four years at the University of Alabama and battling injuries, Nigel Knott announced his transfer school on Thursday as he has committed to East Carolina University.
Knott, a native of Madison, Miss., arrived in the Crimson Tide’s 2016 recruiting class as a four-star cornerback. The 5-foot-11, 182-pounder came in with much potential; however, a knee injury forced him to redshirt his freshman season. Despite playing in 12 games combined for 2017 and 2018, he could not shake the injury bug. He missed the entire 2019 season after not being medically cleared for football, but he did manage to obtain his degree on last week.
