He was an electric running back, receiving threat, and return specialist for the University of Alabama in the Nick Saban era, but he now says goodbye to the National Football League after eight seasons.

Kenyan Drake, a native of Powder Springs, Ga., announced his retirement from pro football via his Instagram.

He was selected in the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins after four years in college. Drake spent time with the Dolphins, Arizona Cardinals, Las Vegas Raiders, Baltimore Ravens (twice), Indianapolis Colts, Cleveland Browns, and Green Bay Packers.
