Former Alabama wide receiver, Christion Jones was officially introduced as Paul W. Bryant High School’s new head football coach Friday.
Jones is a two-time BCS National Champion with the Crimson Tide. He won SEC Special Teams Player of the Year and was elected to the ALL SEC 1st team in 2013 before going undrafted in 2015. The Alabama native later signed with the Miami Dolphins practice squad for a brief stint. In 2016, Jones signed with the Canadian Football League where he played four seasons for Toronto Argonauts (2016) , Saskatchewan Roughriders (2017-2019), and Edmonton Eskimos (2019). He officially retired from football in 2019.
