Former Alabama QB signs with NFC West team in NFL Free Agency

Former Alabama quarterback Mac Jones signed a two-year deal with the San Francisco 49ers on Day 3 of NFL Free Agency. Jones could make up to $7-million dollars in two seasons with the organization.

Previously, Jones played for the New England Patriots and Jacksonville Jaguars. The Florida native had stints as a starter for both organizations.

Over the course of his four-year career, Jones has passed for over 10,000 yards and 54 touchdowns to 44 interceptions.

Jones has had some highs and lows, but the 49ers see potential in the former Alabama signal-caller. It will be interesting to see how Jones performs and develops in an offense led by offensive mastermind and 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan.
