It has been a tumultuous journey for former Alabama quarterback and No. 1 overall pick Bryce Young. The Carolina Panthers named Young as the team’s starting quarterback for their week eight matchup against the Denver Broncos.
After starting the first two games of the season, Young was benched in favor of veteran quarterback Andy Dalton. In the first two games, Young was 31/56 passing for 245 yards and three interceptions.
He has played in two games since then. Young came in late in the fourth quarter against the Chicago Bears and Washington Commanders. He went 6/9 passing for 54 yards.
