A controversial, but also impressive moment happened Sunday between the New Orleans Saints and Los Angeles Chargers.
Los Angeles earned a 26-8 victory, but a former Alabama football standout went into enforcer mode to defend star quarterback, Justin Herbert in New Orleans, La. Bradley Bozeman completely dumped Saints’ defensive lineman Nathan Shepherd to the ground after he tried to twist Herbert’s leg in the second quarter. Bozeman jumped on Shepherd, pinned him to the ground, and Herbert had to help Bozeman get off him. The Alabama native is serious when it comes to protecting his quarterback.
He protected names such as AJ McCarron, Blake Sims, Jacob Coker, Jalen Hurts, and Tua Tagovailoa during his tenure at the University of Alabama from 2013 to 2017.
