Former Alabama, NFL starter joins Alabama coaching staff

After his time in the NFL ended last season, Josh Chapman came home.

The former nose tackle who played at Alabama from 2007-11 is back in Tuscaloosa full time now. He is currently serving as the an assistant strength and conditioning coach with the Crimson Tide. He's been a visible member of the staff early in the spring practice routine and during the March 9 pro day.

"He's always critiquing us," Alabama defensive lineman Dalvin Tomlinson said. "We're always watching extra film with him and stuff like that. He critiques us. He's just a good person to help because he's been in the position we're in.
