A former Alabama legend on offense under Nick Saban started the conversation, but now one of the best pass rushers in the Saban era for the Crimson Tide wants to add his input.
Trent Richardson, a two-time BCS National Championship running back (2009 and 2011), said Alabama quarterback Bryce Young should return to school for his senior season. Richardson wants to see the California native lead his Alma mater to a College Football Playoff National Championship as the starting signal-caller. Young fell short in 2021 against Georgia and the Tide did not make the CFP this season. Richardson said on The Developmental Focus Point via The Bama Standard that he wouldn’t feel right leaving Alabama without having a national championship as a starter.
