Defensive coordinator Dom Capers has acquired more excitement to his defensive front seven of the Green Bay Packers, as the franchise signed five-year veteran Quinton Dial today.
Dial was cut from the San Francisco 49ers on last week, ended a tenure of 126 tackles and 4.5 sacks. The 6-foot-5, 318-pound defensive lineman turned in a strong performance in 2015, collecting 59 total tackles and 2.5 sacks. He signed a three-year extension with the team back on Feb. 24, 2016 prior to being released. Adding Dial gives the Packers leverage on its defensive line – to pair alongside Ricky Jean Francois, Mike Daniels and Montravius Adams (rookie).
