Kane Wommack has located a star in Alabama’s defensive secondary since the Tennessee game.

The Crimson Tide’s defensive coordinator had a veteran safety go down in Keon Sabb, but a young player has emerged and has Alabama executing with physicality and violence. Bray Hubbard, a native Mississippian, is a second-year player who arrived as a four-star safety in the Tide’s 2023 recruiting class. The 6-foot-2, 204-pounder made plays versus the Volunteers and Missouri, while being an enforcer yet again last week. Hubbard recorded his second career interception against Louisiana State University, posting the third takeaway of the game off Garrett Nussmeier.
