Former Alabama football coach Mike DuBose was airlifted to a Dothan-area hospital Monday after accidental shooting, AL.com confirmed.
The Covington County Sheriff Department said DuBose was transported to a hospital but could not say if the injuries were life threatening.
WDHN-TV in Dothan was the first to report this story.
More information expected to be released within the hour.
DuBose coached Alabama for four years from 1997-2000, finishing with a 24-23 record and two bowl losses. The Tide went 3-8 in his final season.
