Former Alabama assistant Bo Davis has found a new home, as defensive line coach at Conference USA program UT San Antonio, the school announced Wednesday.

Davis spent two separate stints at Alabama, the most recent as defensive line coach under Nick Saban, but left the program under messy circumstances in April 2016 after being accused of recruiting violations.
During the intervening months, Davis had served as an intern with the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars. Although other schools reportedly had expressed interest in Davis, concern over possible future penalties from the NCAA complicated his situation.
