The University of Alabama is losing a second defensive lineman from its football program to the NCAA transfer portal.
Hayes Fawcett of On3 Sports reports that Hunter Osborne is pursuing the portal.
The former four-star recruit came to the Crimson Tide in its 2023 recruiting class as an in-state prospect from Hewitt-Trussville (Ala.) High School. He was one of the top in-state lineman at 6-foot-4 and 298 pounds. Osborne was on Nick Saban’s final Southeastern Conference Championship team at Alabama last year. He totaled three tackles in four games this season.
Osborne becomes the ninth Alabama player to enter the transfer portal.
