TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – For the third consecutive season, Lane Kiffin’s job as Alabama’s offensive coordinator remains unchanged.
All he has to do is evaluate four talented quarterbacks, then find and develop one who is capable of leading a gifted group of players to another SEC championship and, perhaps, a run at the Crimson Tide’s fifth national title in the past eight seasons.
Piece of cake, right?
Kiffin, by any objective measure, has coached the quarterback position better than anybody in college football the past two seasons.
In 2014, Kiffin turned Blake Sims, who had bounced around at several different positions at Alabama, into an SEC championship quarterback.
