TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The University of Alabama football team returned from spring break and held its second practice of the spring, working out in shorts and helmets for roughly two hours outdoors on the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields.
The Crimson Tide is scheduled to put on full pads for the first time this spring when they return to the practice field on Wednesday. Recently, former Alabama running back Derrick Henry was announced as a finalist for the 2016 James E. Sullivan Award. The Sullivan Award is annually given to the nation's best amateur athlete by the Amateur Athletic Union.
