Kelby Collins is training to play along the edge of Alabama football’s defense at bandit and working to learn how to play inside along the Tide’s defensive front this spring.
Collins transferred to Alabama from Florida at the conclusion of the 2024 football season. The Alabama native spent two seasons with the Gators and finished his time as a Gator with 23 total tackles, 1.5 sacks and one forced fumble.
The Tide’s defensive coordinator Kane Wommack dove into the way the Tide are using Collins Friday during his media availability.
“Kelby’s doing both for us,” Wommack said.
