Hewitt-Trussville's Paul Tyson has another season of high school football to play, but he became Alabama's quarterback of the future after committing to the Crimson Tide on Thursday.
The great-grandson of legendary Alabama coach Paul "Bear" Bryant, Tyson threw for 3,392 yards and 36 touchdowns, with only four interceptions, last year as the Huskies finished 10-0 in the regular season for the second straight season. He's currently a four-star prospect, according to 247 sports.
Now that he's committed, the 6-foot-4, 215-pound Tyson plans to only visit Alabama, expects to graduate high school in December and wants to help recruit other top prospects for the Tide.
