One thing that could pay dividends for Alabama during the 2025 season is the familiarity among the coaching staff. Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer has assembled a coaching staff that is familiar with one another. Several members of the coaching staff have previously coached together at previous stops.
A handful of Alabama’s assistant coaches were a part of Kalen DeBoer’s coaching staff at Washington. The list includes newly hired offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb, offensive coordinator JaMarcus Shephard, offensive assistant Nick Sheridan, assistant director of player personnel Jerret McElwain, general manager Courtney Morgan, and inside linebackers coach Chuck Morrell.
