University of Alabama men’s basketball coach Avery Johnson said on Thursday that some decisions about this year’s Crimson Tide are coming soon — but not just yet.
Alabama plays its only exhibition game of the season Friday night at Coleman Coliseum, hosting Trevecca Nazarene, and Johnson said that there will be continued experimentation in that game.
“We’re still a work in progress,” said Johnson, who took over the head coaching position last April. “We had a plan of attack in our scrimmage (against Belmont last weekend) and we executed it pretty well in the first half, not so well in the first 10 minutes of the second half.
