Ex-Alabama WR Calvin Ridley taken by Atlanta Falcons in NFL Draft

Calvin Ridley will be reunited with Steve Sarkisian.

The 6-foot-1 189-pound receiver was drafted by Atlanta with the 26th pick of the first round.

Sarkisian, the Falcons offensive coordinator, served in that same role for Alabama during the 2017 national championship game loss to Clemson.

In Atlanta, Ridley will be paired with former Alabama wideout Julio Jones, a perennial Pro Bowler.

Ridley was the second wideout taken in the first round after Maryland's D.J. Moore was selected by Carolina.
