Injuries forced him into action as a true freshman and while the same thing ended his season during the middle of 2017, Alabama fans are excited for year two with LaBryan Ray.
A five-star prospect, the explosive defensive end recorded five tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and one sack through six games. Coming from Madison, Ala., Ray was an unstoppable force at James Clemons High School. He collected 290 tackles in his tenure and added 25 sacks, 32 quarterback hurries and 45 tackles for loss – en route to being twice named 7A Lineman of the Year from the Alabama Sports Writers Association (ASWA) after the 2015 and 2016 seasons.
