Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones served as an honorary captain for the Alabama alumni flag football game Saturday, and spent some time in Tuscaloosa working out with Alabama running back Derrick Henry.
In addition to working out with Henry, Jones told reporters at the Falcons’ facility in Flowery Branch, Ga., that he had advice for all the Crimson Tide draft prospects.
“Just keep an open mind,” Jones said. “We all grow up with favorite NFL teams. Guys want to go here, go there. But even just media and everybody else saying, ‘Oh, you’re predicted to go here; you’re predicted to go here,’ or whatever, and then they get their hopes up and they don’t go there.
