Denver's Evan Mathis had some injury concerns coming down the stretch in the 2015 NFL season, but he went all the way at left guard in the Broncos' 24-10 victory over the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50 on Sunday.
In his 11th NFL season, Mathis reached the Super Bowl for the first time in his pro career eight months after the Philadelphia Eagles released him, despite his status as a Pro Bowler for each of the previous two seasons. He signed with Denver less than three weeks before the kickoff of the regular season and played all 60 of the Broncos' offensive snaps in the Super Bowl.
