An ESPN College Football Playoff analyst believes what happened to the Crimson Tide negatively affected one team in the Southeastern Conference. Heather Dinich shared with ESPN on Tuesday that Alabama dropping to Vandy was not good for the Georgia Bulldogs. She said that Alabama’s win over Georgia should keep the Tide from ‘sinking too far’ in the CFP Committee’s eyes.

“When you’re in that selection committee room, head-to-head results matter tremendously as long as their records are the same,” Dinich said.
