Eryk Anders wanted it, and now he's got it.
After the former Alabama linebacker's victory at UFC Fight Night 123 on Saturday night in Fresno, California, Anders said he hoped his next MMA fight would come against Lyoto Machida in February.
Ultimate Fighting Championship is making that happen, pairing Anders and Machida in a five-round middleweight main event for UFC Fight Night 125 on Feb. 3 at Manguerinho Arena in Belem, Brazil. Belem is Machida's hometown.
Fox Sports 1 will televise the fight.
Anders ran his MMA pro record to 10-0 by scoring a unanimous decision against Markus Perez in a middleweight fight on Saturday night.
