Former Alabama linebacker Eyrk Anders will try to continue his climb in mixed martial arts when he fights Markus Perez in a middleweight bout on "UFC Fight Night 123" on Saturday in Fresno, California.
The fight will be the first for Anders since he scored a first-round knockout against Rafael Natal in his Ultimate Fighting Championship debut on July 23 during "UFC on FOX 25" in Uniondale, New York.
Anders' victory in his UFC debut boosted his overall record as an MMA professional to 9-0, with seven of the fights never getting past the first round.
