Alabama and LSU played another in another classic Saturday night, andfor the sixth consecutive time, it was the Crimson Tide that prevailed.
In a defensive showdown in Baton Rouge, top-ranked Alabama beat No. 13 LSU 10-0. All 10 of the Tide’s points came in the fourth quarter.
Alabama has now won three in a row in Tiger Stadium and 21 consecutive overall – the longest active streak in the nation. With the win over the Tigers, the Tide also becomes the first team to defeat a ranked opponent in four consecutive games since Auburn in 1983 (at Arkansas, at Tennessee, Texas A&M and at LSU).
