More good news for 2016: converted-cornerback-cum-all-star-safety, Eddie Jackson, is returning to the Capstone for his senior season.
Alabama Crimson Tide safety Eddie Jackson will forgo the NFL draft and return for his senior season, sources told ESPN on Thursday. Jackson, an All-SEC first-team selection by conference coaches, led the Crimson Tide with six interceptions, including one against Clemson in the College Football Playoff National Championship.
Jackson's impact will be huge for the Tide, seeking a clear No. 1 playmaker with the graduation of Cyrus Jones, Maurice Smith and Geno Matias-Smith in the secondary.
