HOOVER -- Georgia quarterback Brice Ramsey dropped back to see what he thought was an open receiver running down the seam and attempted to deliver the ball to his man at midfield. What Ramsey didn’t see was Alabama safety Eddie Jackson, who broke on the ball, made the interception and made a few offensive linemen look foolish on his way to the end zone.
For the Crimson Tide, Jackson’s pick-six was a standout play in a momentum-changing 38-10 victory over the Bulldogs in Sanford Stadium last season. For Jackson, the play represented the moment he feels everything finally clicked in his transition to a brand-new position.
