Eddie Jackson's first named echoed through Bryant-Denny Stadium as a cart took the injured Alabama safety off the field Saturday.
It wasn't clear at the time the senior's college career was over. A broken leg in Alabama's 33-14 win over Texas A&M will sideline him the rest of the season. The veteran's injury struck a cord with teammates who offered support on Twitter after the game.
Jackson responded to several messages Saturday night.
I just want to say thank you to everyone for checking on me and all the prayers all I know is how to bounce back.
