Pizza has a Chicago style. So do politics and hot dogs. And in the National Football League, there's a type of defense that's Chicago style, personified by players such as Dick Butkus and featuring the mayhem evoked by the moniker Monsters of the Midway.
Chicago Bears safety Eddie Jackson wants to resurrect that kind of football in the Windy City for the 2018 season.
"We just want to get back to that old Chicago Bears-style defense -- physical, aggressive, forcing turnovers, scoring touchdowns and things like that," Jackson said on Sunday after the Bears' first practice in pads of training camp.
