Early betting money HEAVY in Alabama’s favor over FSU in opener

According to the Golden Nugget Sportsbook in Las Vegas, Alabama has climbed all the way up to a six-and-a-half point favorite over Florida State in the season opener of the 2017 season. The Tide were a five-and-a-half point pick over the Seminoles when the line was initially set just days ago.

With the point spread being “bet up” from five-and-a-half to six-and-a-half points in such a short period of time, that means a vast majority of the money being bet on the game has come in on the Alabama side, forcing the Golden Nugget to raise the point spread in the hopes of having equal betting on both teams.
