The Miami Dolphins have come to a decision on star quarterback Tua Tagovailoa after his most recent concussion.

He successfully avoided all head/neck injuries in 2023; however, the former No. 5 overall selection in the 2020 NFL Draft suffered his fifth career concussion in the National Football League against the Buffalo Bills. Most wanted him to retire, but the native Hawaiian is not making that move. Instead, he wants to continue playing for the Dolphins. Tagovailoa wants to meet with outside neurologists to learn and be better prepared to avoid concussions in the future. According to a few NFL insiders, Miami has placed Tagovailoa on injured reserved.
